CDP 6.1 further enriches many of the new policy-and-control and object-based functionalities introduced in CDP 6.0 and more. CDP 6.1 packs more management and backup controls, such as centralized agent-level policy administration, user permission rules, agent upgrade management and a new data management framework  that give businesses even greater flexibility over the entire backup and disaster recovery operations.  Another key aspect of this release is localization for multiple international languages. This includes Spanish, French, German, Italian, Simplified Chinese and Japanese languages for all user interface tools.
